Many people say that the promises of God never seem to come to fruition for them. But if you would take the time to listen to them, they are saying things like “my family is always sick”, “we never have enough money to pay our bills”, or “I’m always depressed”. “This God thing just doesn’t work, no matter what my Pastor might say!” I can almost guarantee you that they don’t understand biblical faith. They are not talking and walking by faith. I believe that the teaching of faith is important, learning how to receive from God and that it is through faith only that we receive from God. To study faith in God’s Word would bring a new revelation into what it means to live a faith life. Romans 12:3 – For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one the measure of faith. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are each given the same measure of faith. It is what we do with our faith that determines how our faith will grow. It is just like our physical bodies when we work out. We can never exercise and our bodies will never get stronger or we can work out everyday and our bodies will get bigger and stronger. Our faith is the same way, If we exercise our faith everyday, our faith grows and we become more confident in God and His Word. Faith brings an anointing and the anointing brings the Victory I say to myself “I’m not moved by what I see, I’m not moved by how I feel, but I am only moved by what the word of God says.” II Corinthians 5:7 – For we walk by Faith, not by sight. God’s Will is His Word and His Word is His Will. Mark 9:23 – all things are possible to him who believes.
Mark 10: 27 – With men it is impossible but not with God, for with God all things are possible. How do we get Faith? Romans 10:17 – Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. I like to say faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing…..the Word of God. Repetitive reading and hearing God’s Word every single day gives God the ability to bring sound doctrine and revelation of His Word to you, thus building your faith Romans 10: 9-10 – Believing and Confessing is how God has designed for us to receive from Him our salvation and anything else we desire from Him! First, we must first have scripture from God’s Word that backs our prayers. Second, meditate on these scriptures daily until you can spiritually see the answer and not letting any fearful words to come out of our mouth (Confess and believe) Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Romans 10:17 You should start out small, because the small Victories will bring confidence into your spirit & soul man. Believe God for a dime and let it grow from there. Soon you will have the confidence to believe God for greater things. Your faith should always be in action – from Glory to Glory, from Victory to Victory!
Romans 1: 16,17-For I am not shamed…..the righteousness of God is revealed from Faith to Faith – The just shall live by faith. God expects us to be in faith in Him and His promises. From faith to faith, always growing, always becoming more bold and growing in assurance of God’s faithfulness.
Hebrews 11: 6 – without Faith it is impossible to please God, and we must believe that He is a rewarder that diligently seek Him. Diligence is were many Christians miss it. They think one time speaking God’s promise will do it, when in reality His Word has not moved from your head to your heart yet! And it is from your heart that we receive from God. Faith starts from hearing God’s Word and it ignites in your heart. What takes time is moving that truth from your mind to your heart (about 18 inches). This is accomplished by diligently meditating on His scripture till it becomes a reality in your spirit.
Romans 4: 17b – God calls those things which be not as though they were – During the time that God created the heavens and the earth, He called into existence everything with His words – faith filled words! So as His children, we should also be calling into existence the desires of our hearts (Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart – Psalm 37:4). Calling over and over again until it gets down into your spirit man, your soul and until we see the fruition of our words. Your words are powerful and they have value, but remember what God says about your words – Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). It’s a choice that you have to make, speak God’s Word over yourselves by faith or speak death.
Read Mark 11: 23 – believe (once), saying (three times) – so it must be very important what you say. Vr. 24 – When you pray, believe that you have received. So when do you receive? When you pray! Start there Let your words line up with God’s Word. That is why it is so important for us to know God’s Word. Speaking God’s Word over and over and over to yourself and your
situation brings Faith and your Faith will release God’s ability! Philippians 3:13-14 – Forgetting those things which are behind me and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press…. In the Hall of Faith – Hebrews 11- almost everyone of these individuals had problems in their past. Your past is not relevant to you today and your future! Each individual ended up in great faith. Isaiah 43: 18,19 – God is doing a new thing! Do not let your past control your present faith and action.
If you are born again, your past sins are forgiven you (Colossians 3:13) Let your faith bring God’s blessing into your life today!
Rejoice and be glad in it!
