Rick Cope Ministry International has committed to build a church for the people of Nicaragua. Our efforts join Gideon Cry Ministry International and Dr. Christopher Bowser, to construct a building large enough to hold 40 to 50 people with electricity and a restroom. The congregation in Nicaragua is headed by Pastor Franklin, who has been pastoring for the last five years, holding his services outside in all the elements. He has been faithful in all his efforts and anticipates the completion of this church with the joy of the Lord in his heart. The area that the Church will sit on will be leveled and the top layer of ground will be work hardened. There is to be a concrete floor and the walls will be built with concrete block. The roof will have wood framing and on top will be a metal roof. Windows will be installed and it is designed to have two doors. For the front entrance, it will be a double door and the side door will be a man door. Electricity will have to be brought to the building and all the electrical components (wiring, overhead lights, outlets for each side, fans and a complete sound system including speakers, microphones and wiring) installed. An elevated area in the front for the musicians and pastor to stand on. Individual chairs for the congregation, a podium for the Pastor to teach from. Finally, the outside and inside will have to be painted. Most of the labor will be supplied by the congregation. The total costs for the building is estimated at $12,500.00 US dollars. Also there will be costs for an individual to travel down to Nicaragua and monitor the work process – $5,000.00. I am asking each of you to help reach out to the Pastor and people of the church to bring this opportunity to fruition. Every person helping can make this goal possible. Galatians 6:10 – Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
